Problem to Solve
A mid-sized European software company approached orionic with a vision to enhance their existing platform by integrating an intelligent coding interface. Their goal was to provide users with an experience similar to GitHub Copilot — a built-in AI assistant capable of generating, correcting, and improving code directly inside a browser-based environment. The challenge was to deliver a solution that combined high performance with enterprise-grade security, all within a tight development deadline.
Our Solution

The project was handled entirely by the orionic development team, which was responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating the AI Copilot into the client’s platform. Despite a one-month delivery window, the team successfully developed a fully functional solution that met all technical and usability requirements. The integrated Web IDE featured a real-time chat interface for AI-powered assistance, an interactive “Help” function that generated context-based suggestions, and a cursor tracker capable of identifying the part of the code a user was focusing on. This allowed the AI Copilot to provide highly relevant hints and corrections tailored to each user’s current task. Because the solution was intended for public deployment, security was treated as a top priority. The system was built with robust safeguards against prompt-injection attacks, unauthorized token usage, and potential data leaks. These measures ensured compliance with modern cybersecurity and data-protection standards, making the integration safe for enterprise-level use.
Results & Effects
The AI Copilot was integrated into the client’s software infrastructure quickly, securely, and without downtime. Its addition significantly enhanced the product’s value proposition, attracting new users and strengthening customer loyalty. By the end of the following quarter, the company reported a 30 percent increase in sales, driven largely by the new AI-enabled functionality and the improved developer experience it offered.
